Take a look inside ↗App screenshot generator sizes, explained
Start with the store and device your app supports. An App Store image for iPhone, an iPad listing screenshot and a Google Play image are different outputs, even when they tell the same story. Open a template or choose a canvas in the studio, add your real app captures, and adjust the background and headlines. Review the composition before exporting PNG or JPEG files.
These are selected canvas presets available in AppScreenshoot, not a complete list of every size a store accepts. Apple's iPhone and iPad specifications list exact dimensions; Google Play supports device-specific requirements. The Android phone preset below is a practical portrait starting size. Consult the linked specifications for your actual submission.

Questions before you create app screenshots
What does an app screenshot generator create?
It turns an existing app capture into a listing image with a chosen canvas size, background and headline. It does not take a screenshot of your app or build its interface. Capture the real product first, then use the maker to present that screen.
Can I make a screenshot without an account?
The studio supports local editing without an account. Pro templates require a Pro membership, and cloud projects require sign-in. Check the pricing page for current plan details.
Can I create both App Store and Google Play images?
Yes. The studio offers iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Google Play tablet canvases, plus a separate 1024 × 500 feature graphic. Use captures and device frames that match your app, and check the target dimensions before exporting.
Will an iPhone screenshot work for an iPad listing?
Use a capture of the actual iPad experience when your app supports iPad. A wider canvas changes the room available for your image and caption; resizing an iPhone capture alone does not show the tablet experience.
Is this a mockup generator?
The studio lets you add device frames and arrange images and text. You can build a device mockup or a connected screenshot set, or remove the frame to give your app interface more space.
Does exporting the right size guarantee store approval?
No. Dimensions are one part of submission. Screenshots must also represent your product accurately and meet the store's content requirements. Review every exported image and the current Apple or Google guidance before uploading it yourself.
