Cookies Policy
This policy explains how AppScreenshoot uses cookies and similar browser storage when you browse templates, sign in, and use our screenshot studio.
What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser and sent with matching web requests. Local storage and IndexedDB also keep information on your device, but are not automatically sent with every request. We use these technologies to support the features described below.
What we use
Optional cookies
AppScreenshoot uses Google Analytics to measure website traffic and Amplitude analytics with automatic interaction capture and session replay enabled when you visit. We record product steps such as opening the editor, saving projects, exporting screenshots and starting checkout. Session replay is configured to sample all sessions; actual delivery depends on browser and network conditions. Hotjar provides heatmaps and session recordings to help us understand page interactions. Google Analytics, Amplitude and Hotjar may use cookies and browser storage to associate events with a device and session. Dismissing this notice does not control tracking.
Your controls
You can reopen the notice details at any time using . Necessary storage has no optional toggle in this panel. You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. This may sign you out and permanently remove local drafts and imported images. Export any work you want to keep before clearing site data.
Services that support the website
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic, Amplitude and Hotjar for analytics and session replay, Chatway for customer support, Clerk for authentication and Cloudflare to host and deliver AppScreenshoot. Authentication and any security challenges may involve provider-managed storage depending on the configuration and the request. See Clerk’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Amplitude’s privacy policy and Hotjar’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for information about their data practices.
Changes and questions
We update this page when our use of browser storage changes. For questions about this policy, contact hello@appscreenshoot.com.
