Keep the watch interface easy to read

A watch screenshot should communicate one small task clearly. A short timer, activity summary or focused action is easier to understand than a full phone screen squeezed into a watch display. Start with a real capture of the watchOS experience. The automatic example shows a fictional focus timer, with a simple progress ring and a short status label. It is demonstration content, not a screenshot of a released app or a health measurement.

The 2D device picker reuses the studio’s Apple Watch artwork, screen masks and available case or band combinations. Changing the finish updates the hardware around your capture while keeping your text and output size. Watch frames can include a visible band, which occupies part of the composition. Review the amount of space left for the actual interface and keep the headline brief. Choose No device frame when you want the capture itself to occupy more of the exported image.

Apple Watch screenshot sizes and device artwork

The output selector includes 422 × 514, 410 × 502, 416 × 496, 396 × 484, 368 × 448 and 312 × 390 pixel canvases. The default is 416 × 496 pixels. These are fixed watch screenshot shapes rather than a generic portrait or landscape toggle. Choosing a frame does not select an output size automatically. Different artwork models and screenshots represent different concepts, so check both selectors before generating the final files.

The watch frames in this page are 2D assets from the shared studio catalog; a 3D option is not shown because no watch model is currently available there. Export JPEG or RGB PNG without alpha, or download a numbered ZIP for a batch. Apple’s screenshot reference specifies consistent watch screenshot dimensions across localizations. Keep the same selected output size when preparing translated versions, and review your App Store Connect listing before submitting any artwork.

Customize and export your Apple Watch screenshot set

An example is loaded automatically when this page opens. Start by changing the headline or theme to see the preview respond, then replace the demo with your own PNG, JPEG or WebP captures. You can select up to eight files per batch, with a maximum of 20 MB for each image and 80 MB in total. Selected images can be moved earlier in the sequence or removed individually without replacing the entire set.

Choose your output size before finalizing the composition. Add a shared headline and optional supporting text, then select individual files to override their headlines. Fit preserves the complete source image; Fill crops it to the device screen. Zoom and position adjust the complete device in the artwork. Drag the preview or use the numeric position fields. Generate the files after reviewing your settings, then download individual images or a numbered ZIP archive.

What this browser tool does and does not do

Images are processed in this browser. Your screenshot files are not uploaded by this tool, and you do not need an account to try the example or generate artwork. The demo contains fictional product content intended to demonstrate the controls. Replace it with a real capture of your application before publishing a listing. Processing large images takes more memory, and decoded source images above 32 megapixels are rejected. Keep an original copy of your captures for future edits.

The preview is reduced for responsive editing while the generated files use the selected output dimensions. Changing a file or design setting clears the previous export, so the download area represents the most recently generated composition. A successful export verifies image generation, not whether your product claims are accurate or a store will approve the listing. Check every caption, remove private information, and inspect the actual output. Use the full studio for additional devices, independently positioned text layers and more complex artwork.

Questions about apple watch screenshot generator

Can I change the watch case and band?

Yes. The available finishes come from the selected watch in the studio’s device catalog.

Does this include a 3D watch?

The shared catalog currently has 2D Apple Watch frames, so the page offers those assets and a no-frame option.

What is the default size?

The canvas starts at 416 × 496 pixels. Other displayed watch screenshot sizes are available in the output selector.

Can I upload an iPhone screenshot?

The tool can load the image, but use a real watchOS capture. Fitting a phone image into a watch does not create a watch interface.

Does the demo load automatically?

Yes. A fictional focus timer loads when the page opens. Replace it with your own capture before publishing.

Can I make localized versions?

Yes. Update your captions and source capture, and keep the selected screenshot dimensions consistent across the localized sets.
